2024 Local Option Levy
Information provided by the Lebanon Professional Firefighters PAC 16223

Thank you for showing interest in learning more about Measure 22-202, Lebanon Fire District's (LFD) Local Option Levy! Lebanon is a growing community and needs more firefighters to support the demand of emergency services such as ambulance and fire response! LFD's call volume continues to increase as more and more citizens move in to our community, and LFD hasn't added additional firefighters in over a decade. Due to restrictions on how fire districts can gain additional funding to overcome the burdens of inflation, LFD needs additional help. Like much of the citizens, the Fire District is on a fixed income and is at the point where provided services will be affected unless they can get some financial help.

We want to make sure everyone understands the challenges LFD faces. Here is some information provided by the Yes for Lebanon Firefighter's PAC. You can find out more information by visiting their page at www.yesforfirefighters.com

Additionally, Lebanon Fire District has released information on Measure 22-202, costs, and the services it would provide:

The Local Option Levy will cost taxpayers 75 cents per $1000 of assessed value of their homes and property. We've developed a tool to help you estimate what it will cost you! A typical 1960 ranch style home on 1/4 acre, 3 bed 1 bath will cost about $110 a year.
